The Big Five

Whenever one goes on a safari, the goal is to see the "big five", named for the five most difficult and dangerous games to hunt in Africa.

And leopard. No photos because I didn't see one. They are nocturnal, solitary, and few in number making them difficult to catch. Most people do miss leopards from their checklist. I say that just to make myself feel better, however, because the group I met at my lodge saw three leopards on their previous safari and everyone in my shuttle van back to Johannesburg got it on their safaris.  :(
